Pow Magazine covered Mexicadelia SF tour last September at Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco! Mexicadelia is the sound of the Guadalajara music scene in Mexico. This year, for the first time, the tour brought the Guadalajara psychedelic sounds to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and So Cal in September. Mambo SF is the City’s execution to showcase a fast growing, independent festival from Guadalajara, Mexico. Through the promotions of Mambo SF, Mexicadelia is celebrating the thriving, creative music scenes of Guadalajara, Mexico. The POW team interviews Lorena Jimenez, co-founder of Mambo SF, The Alternating Currents (SF), LEMAT (Guadalajara, MX), Night Heron (PDX) and Neptuna (Guadalajara, MX). This interview is POW’s first bilingual interview. Enjoy!
