Death Valley Girls - Glow In The Dark
Death Valley Girls – Glow In The Dark

“Everybody’s got to be in a gang” is open invitation to a call to arms lead by Death Valley Girls.

Hailing from Echo Park, California their blend of punk and inspired hex laced ritual rock will be sure to captivate the ears, hearts, and souls of anyone lucky enough to listen. Members include; Bonnie Bloomgarden, Larry Schemel, and The Kid, Nikki Pickle and are currently signed to Burger Records who distributed their first album Street Venom back in 2014.

The video for “Glow in the Dark” is a perfectly executed punk glazed shot of pure adrenaline ready to be pumped directly into your veins. With guitars, drums and a vocal style drenched with confidence that may bring a tear to the eye of anyone listening who has ever been oppressed, sickened to their stomach from belittlement, or made to feel like less than a person as they’re now being given a true example of how to overcome this and laugh in its face. We’re privy to a kaleidoscope type world through psychotropic lenses into a bombardment of psychedelic landscapes to the sleazy world of excess and sees every band member collide wonderfully as they burst with confidence. The empowered message is seen completely personified as the dizzying images make way to find Death Valley Girls leading a march onwards to greatness. I can only count the days until June 10th when the sure to be landmark album Glow in the Dark is released [http://tinyurl.com/jnza4oy].

If you’re lucky enough to reside in the Los Angeles area, or within driving, flying, swimming distance make sure you don’t miss the June 30th show at The Echo sponsored by Burger Records. Supporting acts include Peach Kelli Pop and Frankie and the Witch Fingers with Burger Records DJs.
