The UK’s Psychic Lemon has released a dark, droning, distortion filled wall of sound for their fourth studio album. The Unheimlich Kingdom described by the band as, “Dark Days… Disorder and decay. GOBLYNS new single and music video for ‘The Gardener‘ off the album Hunki Bobo
Berlin’s Psych surf rock band GOBLYNS bring the liquid sunlight through the good vibes on the new single ‘The Gardener.‘ Classic wah-wah guitar and walking bass creates a musical experience that transcends boundaries. Influenced by Khruangbin and Kikagaku Moyo they go from surf to fuzz rock driven by excellent guitar styling. ‘The Gardener‘ is from the May 2024 album Hunki Bobo which is packed with chill vibes and groovy rock music. Agouti of Oakland, California has a new single, ‘These Days‘ with gentle voice and guitar and viola and cello in the folk style of the late 1960s. The music is intimate with meaningful poetic lyrics. Live at LEVITATION by A Place To Bury Strangers
This is the most unique, wild and loud music to come out from the Live At Levitation series and that is really saying something with bands like Osees, Frankie and The Witch Fingers, and The Black Angels. A Place To Bury Strangers performs with heavy strobe lights, non-stop fog. Guitars thrown 20 feet into the air often crashing on stage. Their instruments and the speakers are pushed beyond their limits breaking into new sonic dimensions. Their effects go far beyond the reasonable limits. In fact, Oliver from APTBS runs his own effects pedal company called Death By Audio allowing him to create sounds that would otherwise to inaccessible. This is a band that embodies noise punk rock.
