The headlining acts for Portland’s 10th annual Nuggets Night have just been announced! The annual event, which brings together a massive roster of bands to pay tribute to the holy grail of garage compilation albums, while also raising funds for a different musician-focused nonprofit each year, will be held June 23rd-24th, 2017 at Portland’s Star Theater. Headlining the first night of Nuggets Night 2017 are The Shadows of Knight and The Pandoras, followed the second night by The Loons and The Woggles. Both nights of the event will also feature performances by loads of amazing bands from within Portland’s impressive garage/psych scene.
POW Magazine covered last year’s sold-out Nuggets Night shows, featuring The Flamin’ Groovies and The Kingsman. This year, POW staff will be returning to Portland once again, and will be sharing photos, interviews, and live show performances from Nuggets Night 2017 throughout both nights of the event.
