    No More Censorship Defense Fund Benefit Show 30-years Later

    I don’t recall exactly when or exactly how I involved myself with the “No More Censorship Defense Fund Benefit Show” in 1987, but I think it began with Pow Magazine co-founder Dave Davis. He asked legendary San Francisco promoter Dirk Dirksen if he needed help raising funds for the ongoing legal expenses in the case against Jello Biafra and members of the premier political-punk band, Dead Kennedys. Dirksen help raise funds for the defendants for the No More Censorship Defense Fund organization.
