New Video From The Chemistry Set ‘STP’
Listen to a psychedelic Kaleidoscope of mind-altering sounds with a psychedelic music video. The Uk’s band, The Chemistry Set‘s released a new single, ‘STP‘ aka Space-Time-Perception in November 2025. The track has an inviting psychedelic sound that draws from the vintage guitar tones of the past with a zippy warm fuzz tone and lead guitar lines that carry on echoing sustain.
The vocals are front and the lyrics repeat ‘space, time perception‘ and reference themes commonly attributed to psychedelic experience. The 7″ single titled, ‘The Tragic Fridge Magnet‘ is available from Fruits de Mer Records and it will have you seeking out your stashed away blotter papers. Limited to 300 copies split between two colored vinyl options.

Psych-Rock Power Trio, THE BIRCH Shares New Single “Vicious Mind”!
High-energy rock oozes from every second of this new single from The Birch, released November 21st 2025. ‘Viscous Mind‘ is garage rock and power blues riffs courtesy of Black Sabbath for an infectious guitar-driven rock sound that captures all the electric charge of this band in wonderful clarity. The running riffs are quick with great balance and tone, making the guitars an absolute feast for the ears.
The vocals are disinterested, youthful with rock-&-roll drive that has a touch of Jim Morrision. The composition embraces the ethos that songs can say what they need without lingering on. The Birch gives the audience the best of what they have and then moves on. ‘Viscous Mind‘ is an excellent song and just one slice of a great album for anyone who just wants to feel raw rock.

Lorelle Meets The Obsolete Share New Single ‘Control’
Prepare yourself for Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, an established underground psych band from Mexico.
This band has been making psyched-out music for over 10 years and never fails to be innovative and compelling. Their sound is artistic and highly creative and they have made music in various facets of the psychedelic rock genre.
The new single, ‘Control‘, is mysterious and dark, driven by synths and steady beats. The vocals are hypnotic and airy, taking a Karen-O tone from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Lorelle Meets The Obsolete’s new album is best enjoyed with a cover-to-cover listen. This single is the closing track ‘Control’ and sums up an epic journey through industrial dark wave psychedelia. The album was released in October 2025 from Sonic Cathedral, available on limited edition vinyl with few copies remaining.

Sister Ray Davies’ New Shoegaze Single, ‘Rowans’
Enjoy blissed-out shoegaze with warm static guitar and synth washes. The music pushes through the speakers with an upbeat yet emotionally sensitive sound. Sister Ray Davis released the single, ‘Rowan‘ in September 2025 and the corresponding full-length album ‘Holy Island’ on November 14th 2025.
Hailing from Alabama, their sound is expansive shoegaze with atmospheric trails of sound that swirl, degrade and washout into the vast horizon. Hushed airy vocals whisper and tone over the rich tapestry of instrumentation.

Adele Dazeem Release Their Stunning Debut EP: ‘Metanoia’
Adele Dazeem of the UK, have released a stunning EP, Metanoia; it’s hard to believe it’s their debut release with the developed sound, cohesive compositions and intelligent musical decision making.
Released on Sonic Cathedral, November 21st 2025 on vinyl format in a limited edition of 250.
The single, ‘Misère‘ establishes the rhythmic pulse in the intro and verse with the bass and rhythm guitar keeping sparse timely drums. This gives the song a unique feel that allows the instruments to become a droning beat and the vocals to have plenty of space in the mix. When the drums enter they add a post-rock force that touches on 80s new wave while being firmly in the shoegaze genre.
The dark undercurrents and The Smiths style vocal approach are beautifully executed and captured in brilliant sound quality. Metanoia and the singles contained with-in are a writer’s dream with many interesting elements to titillate the mind. Reach for Adele Dazeem when looking for darker themes in shoegaze with a new wave bent.

The Early Years Return With, ‘The River’
Soft, gentle synth drones meet plotting piano chords. The vocals sing and are modulated using a blend of raw vocals mixed with an autotuner. The songs tap into shoegaze and Brian Eno style music. The music has a litany of subtle effects, altering the sound of the instruments, including reverse delay which plays some of the riffs backwards with atmospheric trails. Beats and sequencers come on in the second part of the song bringing an upbeat rhythm.
The Early Years are from London and the 7″ lathe cut single from Sonic Cathedral was released in October 2025.

Sun Mahshene Announce Single, ‘Life Is Joy’
‘Life Is Joy‘ is post-rock, Shoegaze and has a hint of motorik percussion. The vocals are layered with overlapping vocal lines, ‘Life is Joy‘ repeats like a mantra. The verses build-up into the chorus, which explodes with more instrumentation and several tracks of vocals soaring. The guitars present rhythmic strums and the lead is wailing sustained distorted notes behind the other instruments.
Sun Mahshene is from Dublin, Ireland and this latest single was released on October 31st 2025. The album has a great clean and detailed sound and was produced by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Mogwau, Depeche Mode).

Whitelands Share ‘Songbird (forever)’ & Announce EU and UK Tour Dates
Whitelands, from the UK, released a series of singles in 2025 in support of the upcoming album Sun Echos set for release on January 30th 2026.
‘Songbird (Forever)‘ is a rare dream pop track from Whitelands. It touches on the acoustic emo of the 2000s while maintaining a shoegaze sound. The catchy melodies and themes of love sit beautifully on their fine-tuned atmospheric instrumentation. The instrumental pallet expands to include a classical string section in addition to the guitar, bass, drum, vocals and keys.

Black Satori’s New Music Video, ‘Holly Roller’
Black Satori has members in Minneapolis, MN and San Francisco, CA. Their DIY music video for the single, ‘Holy Roller‘ was released on January 10th 2026 and was filmed in one take. The song has vintage fuzz tones, driving riffs and whimsical lyrics in German. The lead guitar kicks hard throughout and the drumming and bass holds down the beats with intensity.
Black Satori‘s latest self-titled full-length album picks up where their live recordings and prior album, Lucy Lane left off. The new album has strong songwriting and guitar focused song structures that play loose with-in the psychedelic rock genre, touching on acid rock, stoner rock and retro garage rock.

THE BLACK CAT’S EYE Shares New Video Single “Unicorn”!
A wonderful instrumental piece of German psychedelic rock from The Black Cat’s Eye. Their new album Decrypting Dreams Of Weird Animals And Strange Objects was released in November 2025 on Tonzonen Records.
The new single is titled, ‘Unicorn‘ has running guitars, whirling synths, and progressive drums and bass. This track rips with jamming progressive goodness, perfect for slaying dragons, running up a set of stairs like Rocky Balboa or flying through space. The Black Cat’s Eye released their debut album in 2023 with a post-rock psychedelic style. The new album brings that sound to Kraut-psychedelic-prog with a sense of epic journey.

The Spiral Electric’s New Single: “I Want to Share”
San Francisco’s own, The Spiral Electric, has released a new single, ‘I Want To Share‘ on August 8th 2025.
This is an excellent live band not to be missed and their studio recordings capture their energy and talent but miss the audience inspired free jams. The new single has a BJM sound with a stronger psychedelic brew. The guitars are a refined 70s style divided into rhythm and lead. The rhythm guitar displays the sound of clean strummed strings with a bit of grit and the lead is driving hard with reverb, fuzz and effects.

The Damned ‘See Emily Play’ From The New Album “Not Like Everybody Else”
The Damned‘s new album is filled with cover songs that honor the artists that inspired their founding guitarist, Brian James (RIP 3/6/25). The Damned is now Dave Vanian on vocals, Captain Sensible on guitar, Rat Scabies on drums, Paul Gray on bass and joined by longtime keyboardist Monty Oxymoron – reconnecting with the raw energy that started it all. “See Emily Play” animated video was created by Scott Kennedy stays true to the original recording from early Pink Floyd maintaining its full psychedelic form.
