Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor (SOYFV) Massive Evolution On Good Goddamn

    June 4, 2021 /

SOYSV – Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor – Good Goddamn SOYSV also known as Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor’s newest album Good Goddamn has arrived with quality sound, dynamic compositions, strong singles and vocal forward songwriting. The album is a reflection of the psychological and emotional toll of the covid-19 reality displaying a disjointed and scattered state of mind. The songs transition from stripped down guitar, bass, and drum with alternative rock vocals to dense layers of instrumentation. Gudg’s vocals are a warm, pure sound reminiscent of groups like The School or Camera Obscura, and a…

The Raging Marys Interview About Their Lost Grunge Classic Titled Birthday

    May 21, 2021 /

“What is the album about? It’s a calling card for who we were and how we felt. There is a basic thread of loneliness and a certain angst for being on the outside looking in…not really accepted and being left out, and in some ways turning that into a very powerful thing. It fueled us.

Magic Castles Sun Reign Is Serene Droning Psych Folk Rock

    May 16, 2021 /

The music is dreamy psych rock with 60s garage, 90s alternative rock, shoegaze and folk rock sounds. Driven by guitar chords, washy reverb vocals and warm humming organs to give the album a positive feel with simple melodies backed by dynamic shifting chords. The album titled insinuates a sunny disposition but the album has a feeling of distance that is illuminated by airy vintage tones.
